I just got started with Win 10. I needed the snipping tool today to prepare a few snippings to send to a game developer with one really WEIRD display issue.
I clicked on the Snipping Tool that I've used for years and got a message that it was moving to a new location. It also "encouraged" the use of "Snip & Sketch".
Where is the old tool moving? Is it moving out of Windows and being moved to an option app from the Microsoft Store?
Are there things that the old tool can do but the new one cannot do (and vice versa)?
Why is this change being made?
BTW - I did realize today that Microsoft brought BACK The Windows Media Player that was not available with Win 8/8.1. I guess they realized THAT was a big goof! Is the Snipping Tool in that same vein - more popular than they want to believe?
