A Fb friend is searching any version of the Armado HD game for her little brother who's autistic. He had the Ipod version but when Tricky sold the to Big Fish, Apple removed it from their store so it stopped working.
While a trial version can be found using Google on the BFG site, it's not found using BFG's search. No sale version is available. I can find various versions but all appear to be from dubious sites or trial versions.
SHe's tried contacting both Tricky and BFG support with no real help.
Any ideas on how to help her?
Thanks, Marjory

The PC version is available as a trial at several shareware sites, same as BigFish has, but there would be, far as I can tell, no longer any way to purchase. The full PC game or a crack for the trial might be available, but as you mentioned, from likely dodgy sites. When you Google one of the 1st links is to a YouTube video -- the one comment says the Android version is available from the Play Store, but only if you'd purchased it originally. There are several apk downloads available when you Google, but you wouldn't know whether the apk [the Android setup file format] would be laced with malware. OTOH using a cheap tablet with no connectivity, *maybe* there's not much harm that malware could possibly do.
It might be worth a try contacting the developer directly to see if he'd kindly give or sell you a copy. The guy that started Tricky Software is Zachary Waibel, who seems to have been working for Amazon, at least in 2017 -- his FB page [which seemed inactive] lists Amazon, and he's listed here: aws.amazon[.]com/lumberyard/gdc2017/ . Google also shows links to LinkedIn, and *maybe* the email address on the Tricky Software web site is still monitored.

Hi Delenn - I have 2 grandchildren with Aspergers so I know how focused (obsessed) they can be.
Hi Mikiem2 - I've passed the info to my friend.
Thanks all.

"I have 2 grandchildren with Aspergers so I know how focused (obsessed) they can be."
I'll **Teasingly** take offense at that [while quietly chuckling].
While I have no idea one way or the other -- could just be my illness shutting different parts of my brain down -- I've been ID'd by others as an Aspy [often by Aspies] on more than one occasion. The chuckling part comes in because while I'll tend to bristle if anyone should suggest anything anywhere near obsession, simply can't help myself when faced with the right trigger. Happened last week over something trivial that likely could have had only very slight consequence at worst, yet being fully aware of that, I could not let it go, or wait, or get it out of my head. I'm still laughing about it.

My friend found it. She could only find a Windows version. It's safe. Both of us tested it. I ran it on Win 7 and she ran it on Win10. Your friend will have to put the folder at C or in her game folder and make a short cut of the exe. It, also rearranges your desktop..Which is a PITA but I use a PAID program called Fences and it keeps old screen shots. I would recommend a free program called DesktopOK for her. Major Geeks is a safe site to get free software.

I will upload it to a site if you decide you want it. Let me know.
