   After Delenn mentioned that the developer of Immortal Defense was looking for beta testers (I think), they kindly game me a Steam key to check the game out.

   Unfortunately I actually lost track of the game (couldn't remember its name and had been intending to ask Delenn to remind me as I felt a little disappointed in myself for not giving much feedback, Anyway, I rediscovered it yesterday after searching through the giveaway game discussion forums for a particular thread i posted a few years ago and was wondering why it had been removed from Steam?

   I know the dev's had been working on the game for well over a decade and I was really impressed with the early access version when I checked it out.

   Maybe ask the dev on twitter? He doesn't seem active elsewhere, so I think that might be your best bet.

   Sorry for the late reply. We were in the midst of switching ISPs.

   I just left a message for Paul on Steam...Will update when I get his feedback.

   Thanks Delenn. It was over ayear ago Paul gave me a key, so feel a little bad that I've not done any work on it to give feed back. I genuinely couldn't remember the name and although would occasionally think about contacting you to ask becasue it was you who put me onto Paul, I always seemed to be too busy. There;s been so much going on over the last few years, sometimes I don't know whether I'm coming or going.

   Just been playing this again, and will hopefully pass on some info to Paul when I have time. This definitely is worth selling on Steam. i'm impressed that he hasn't given up on the game. :)

   "no estimate. definitely *will* be released, and i still actively (though slowly, part-time) work on it, and there are testers playtesting it who have access to it, and the offer to add more playtesters is still open, but i can't really give a release date estimate. best i can say would be either late 2020, 2021, or 2022"

   Thanks Delenn; I'd better reinstall it (again). Glad to know he's still working on it. He deserves a successful game after his perseverance at trying to keep this project alive. There are too many developers who have sold games on Steam while in early access then have abandoned them unfinished. For this I respect Paul.
