Basically it's one of the more feature complete ffmpeg-based video converters out of China. I run AMD graphics, so I can't test or comment on the CUDA acceleration used with Nvidia graphics, nor the results using Intel's Quick Sync. You might think of CUDA & Quick Sync as sort of shortcuts, using functions built into the GPU to perform video-related tasks instead of using the CPU. It can be faster, but quality takes a [usually somewhat slight] hit. AMD had something similar that it abandoned years ago in favor of supporting OpenCL, which Nvidia tried & pretty much abandoned. Rather than using OpenCL, VideoProc -- and similar -- use old code that AMD released years ago, before they made the switch to OpenCL. It works, but not as well as it did back then, or maybe would now if AMD still supported it.
