Thurrott had a write up earlier, but no links or info on how to get it. At this point in the process, as Microsoft replaces the guts of win10's Edge browser with those in Chrome, the new version is more like the Chrome browser than Edge. That's great if you use Chrome now, but less of an incentive to switch. I didn't see any mention of compatibility, though Microsoft intends to make it available for win7-8 as well as the new default in win10.
