Only just seen this one, which has been free since the 9th Feb and ends on the 16th Feb:
Free over on Ubisoft's platform is Assassins Creed Chronicles: China, which you'll find <a HERE
You do require a free uPlay account to claim the freebie.
The Chronicle series are not the first person open world versions of the game, but side scrolling platform with some isometric viewpoints thrown in for good measure. The graphic is stylized but still beautifully rendered. . Still well worth getting; especially if you like the Assassin Creed world. You can see a video of game play HERE

The latest games from Epic Games includes two games Absolute Drift; an excellent minimalistic top down drift game and even better Rage 2; a superb post apocalyptic first person shooter, with the ability to drive vehicles in an open world. {Created by one of my favourite game studios (Avalanche Studios with ID Software) I'm playing two of Avalanches games at the moment (with friends) called Second Extinction and Generation Zero; they are also the creators of the fantastic Just Cause franchise}.
