If you installed update Tuesday's KB4093118 in Windows 7, & install the preview rollup listed as an optional update now, KB4093113, Windows Update will want to install KB4093118 again, listing it as only ~30kb. And the only way to get Windows Update to shut up about it is to uncheck & hide that update in Windows Update. You can go ahead & install the KB4093118 update, as many times as you want, & Windows Update will still insist you install it one more time.

Hello, mikiem2.
Thank you for the warning.
A friend gave me his Windows 7 notebook, a Sony Vaio, but I don't remember the model number.
It had been formatted and I had to install almost 200 Updates. One wouldn't install and I remembered your post. Oddly, after all of the Updates and restarts, it was the opposite for me. xx18 installed, but xx13 would not, no matter how many tries.
After trying another way and having the notebook check for updates then going from there, I tried just clicking the Update popup by the Taskbar...and it worked!
Maybe it was the order Windows installed all of those Updates, or maybe just trying as many ways as I could find to try. All I could think was ok, which one do I need to install most?
Hope this can help someone. Just odd that it was one of the updates you mentioned that I had a problem with.
Thank you.
