Strange. I went to add Pinball FX3 to my account and it claimed I already had DLC for it? I have FX2 with several tables, but FX3 was nowhere to be found in my game list. Okay then, if I already have some DLC somehow, I can just add this one, right? Nope- "There was an error adding this to your account." Well, I'll try the "Play Game" button next to the main FX3. Asks to install, decline for now, but FX3 now in game list under FX2. Click C&L DLC again, this time it was added successfully.
Looked closer at the DLC I already had and the list mirrors a few items in the FX2 list, including dates added. Does some of the FX2 DLC carry over to FX3 then I guess? Hmm.

This happened to a guy over at the Chrono forum too..This is what he said...
"This is kind of weird.
I have Pinball FX2 and a selection of tables gained for free and through bundles, but never even knew there was a 3 released. But steam tells me I can’t “buy” the free bundle because I already have all the constituent parts, they’re not in my library though.
Ok still weird, but for another reason. Chose to play FX3 to get it added to my library, looks like all the old FX2 tables I owned got added to FX3, lists owned DLC from 2013 for a game released in 2017."

At least I'm not the only one who ran into this, but it looks like the solution was the same- choose to play FX3 from the store page and it will be added to the library, then we can add more FX3 content like this offering. From here it seems we differed though in that he apparently already owned this on FX2 where I didn't so he got a different error, but now I have it on FX3 (as well as some of the tables I did already have on FX2).
