   Part two of AMDs attempt to make a comeback in terms of relevancy. And it looks good. They're not beating Goliath Intel in performance, but they can get you close for a lot less money. It's no secret that Intel always sets their their prices at whatever they can get away with.

   One potential downside, for many anyway, is that you'll have your work cut out for you if you want to run any version of Windows other than 10. Running 7 is doable, but it's not convenient, and there may be unexpected bugs & glitches.

   AMD has just released their new mainstream graphics card line-up, the RX 500 series. Considering the RX 400 series came out the last part of 2016, That Was Quick. It didn't take an awful lot of engineering though -- these are more of an incremental version 2 update. As such, there's no big performance increase.

   What this could mean to you is great prices on the suddenly older RX 4xx graphics cards. The RX 470, which started out at $200+, with a spotted low of ~$120, and the more expensive RX 480 *might* become very affordable. Both were consistently reviewed as being Great values at list price.
