I am 100% sure this game was given away on here at some point.
You controlled a group of heroes, most of them optional, through a turn based adventure on a map. Everything was 2D, on a square grid system. The first two heroes you run into were a monk and a cavalry guy, with them being one of many such pairs sent out to try and find help. You can also hire an old soldier for some gold, get a crusader captain after bringing him a catapult, bring along a witch you meet, get a barbarian champion, and a paladin who looked just like the crusader captain after bringing him back a gem that contained his power. Some of the main things you did was fight these plagued monsters, with a huge boss called the Iron Bear being one of them, and also their leader was called the Black Rider. You kill him in one mission, and then he's apparently being brought back. You assault a black city for your final mission, stopping his Resurrection. At one point, you can kill a group of vampires and have one of your heroes become a vampire themself. I don't know if anyone will recognize it, but if you do, please tell me the name of it.
