   Hi there. I downloaded Golden Trails 2 quite successfully. I began to play it but only got through one level before it crashed - at the Jail level. The error message is long and I cant copy and paste for some reason but it says in part, 'error in call LUA function'.
   I am running it on Windows Vista.
   I had no trouble at all with 'Golden Trails 1' - it ran fine and I enjoyed the game. Id like to be able to play this one too so any help or advice will be very much appreciated. Thanks a bunch - Erica

   The "error in call LUA function" suggests a problem with your C++ Runtime Libraries. Those libraries sometimes get "corrupted" when lazy programmers make changes to the standard Microsoft routines and don't put their modifications in the correct place.

   The following gives instructions on "How to remove and reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Libraries". Note that you'll need to know if you have a 32-bit or 64-bit system. Open "System Information" (windows key + pause key) if you're unsure.

   If that doesn't fix the problem, try running the program in Vista compatibility mode.
