   Cannot open Toomky site in Chrome. Error says too many redirects. A possible fix they say is to clear cookies and cache or allow third party cookies. Well I cleared cookies and cache but it still won't load. I am not comfortable with allowing third party cookies. Anyone having this issue? I was just on their site yesterday (Dec 26), so I don't get what's happening now.

   It works fine for me with Firefox. I cleared the existing Toomky cookies, blocked 3rd party cookies, and the site loaded fine so it's not the Cookies. Maybe the were having an issue earlier or maybe it's a Chrome problem?

   I don't have any problem with Firefox and I didn't do any clearing -- it's just as normal. It may be Chrome.

   I suggest trying with another browser.

   I tried a download and got a "site too busy" message but then tried again and it worked fine. They have added extra installs which you have to be sure to uncheck.

   Thanks for everybody's responses. Seems to be working fine now. Chrome is buggy at times. :(

   tottin,

   I try to warn my users of the cross-stitch site I admin from using Chrome because it is known to "waste" downloads. We limit downloads because otherwise, people would sign up, strip us clean and then never show up again. This way, they have to slow down a bit (we have over 275 different patterns available). We also put in a pause to keep them from downloading too fast. Even then, Chrome has a tendency to register 3 or 4 downloads for one click and there is nothing we can do other than tell them to use another browser and try "tomorrow".
