   The Italian Avanquest Xmas offer for the 23rd is the Astro Gemini "Christmas Time" 3D screensaver. It was given away on GOTD and very well received on December 7, 2006.

   You click on the 23 in the sky and it will take you to the offer. You'll have to register, but don't have to be accurate on what you put. Then the download button will work. If you use your own e-mail, you'll want to uncheck the checkmark, or you'll be getting some Italian e-mail offers.

   Well, sadly they have made a mistake.
   The site says that it is the Christmas Time screensaver, but the download is for the school of magic screensaver. Also, in the manager, it does not show as a full version, even though the download says it is.

   Will try again later, just in case they fix it.

   Good news, SusanIAm and the rest of you screensaver lovers. You may not have to work it out with the Italian Avanquest site after all. The Spanish site is offering Christmas Time 3D today, the 24th. And the French is offering Astro Gemini's Night City screensaver. Also, when Susan says the Italian site is offering School of Magic, I wonder if that's the Harry Potter screensaver that the UK site has on the 11th. If not, there's another one for you! Of course, they might all be the School of Magic, but at least there's Night City. I haven't tried the downloads myself, as I don't partake in screensavers. But, for you fans, it could be a mini-bonanza!

   Thanks for the heads-up, unfortunately that one is wrong too, it's School of Magic again.
   The Night City screensaver was the right one though, installed and working fine :)

   The winter screen saver looks interesting, however I don't speak the language. Could someone please tell me what info is required when they ask for:
   dirreccion de cerro
   nombre
   apellido

   I assume the installation instructions are in the same language, so are ther any specifics I should know about? ie unwanted toolbars etc.?
   Thanks for any help you can give me!

   Sorry, dns, but what Susan's pointing out is it's the wrong screensaver. They're giving away a Harry Potter screensaver instead of the Christmas Time. On the other hand, they may have fixed it. They're asking for your 1. your e-mail 2. your first name 3. your last name. Although, technically, it hasn't been necessary on many of these downloads for you to give them the right information. If you decide to try it with your correct email address, you might want to uncheck the check mark box, or you'll be getting notices from them in Spanish. If you do give them your right information, or you have any trouble with the directions, you might want to try one of the online translators, like Google translate:

   They work pretty well. Let us know if you download and actually get the Christmas Time screensaver. Susan, for one, was looking for that. You could also try the Italian site on the 23rd, which is the link in the first post.

   Thanks watcher13. I tried the Spanish one for the 24th and the Italian one for the 23rd and got school of magic both times! :( Oh well, guess it was not meant to be! Will try again later, if I remember.

    Somebody could try using an online translator to notify them, though I can't imagine that no one in their country hasn't already said something. If you were to include the text, "I do not speak your language, this is from an online translator, I hope you understand", I bet they'd understand it. I haven't tried since I don't use screensavers.
