No registration code "pops up"

I downloaded the Giveaway of the day for today, and as has happened n several past give-aways the registration code doesn't come up to enter. What I do get is a half price offer for Giveawayoftheday users, on the website for the product.

What is the normal procedure when the registration code doesn't pop-up?
