Tried installing Folder Maker Home 4.2 and I would get the "Activating" screen, then I would get this "Corrupt" screen, then the "Activated" screen. I got an activation code, but could not find the folder, so it didn't install. Redownloaded and got the same messages. Using Windows 10.

Your security software is preventing the installation of the program.
To remedy you can:
(a) set an exclusion for the directory in which the unzipped installation files reside
(b) temporarily disable your security software and install the program
(c) if those fail, boot in "safe mode with networking", install the program, reboot normallyIt's probably too late to install the giveaway but you might try using the registration code on the trial that's available. That sometimes, but rarely, works.

Folder Maker Home was a special Giveawayoftheday version. The trial clould not be activated by the key of the giveaway. In my experience, however, the trial can be activated in over 50% of the cases.

Yeah, I've given up on the folder maker and GOTD. I understand no support for "Free" items, but no support getting it installed, there is no sense in banging my head against the wall and wasting my time with it.
