Hey, I love GAOTD, and I was wondering. What software do they use to activate? Did they write the software? I'm a bit of a computer geek, and that activation software seems kinda neat.

...and that's because it IS an executable file.
But we don't discuss the exact details of how the activation works - the GOTD programmers have never come out and given much information on the details - so all diagnostics in trying to help users who can't activate is all done based on anecdotal evidence and geeky detective work.
