   A few days ago I clicked the download button for XYplorer Pro 15.90. Usually you get started right away. But they've changed it so that this time I got instructions to check my email for the "real" download link. Since I had started this process well within the 24 hour limit, I wasn't anxious. Later in the day when I checked my email the new email was there with the "real" download link. I clicked on it, but the website said, "Whoops, you missed the 24-hour window. Too bad for you!"

   (Having developed websites for many decades I consider this very suspicious behavior, the sort usually drummed up by marketers who want to spread buzz about their product without actually having to give away "free" samples. I think we can all agree that Giveaway of the Day should be above "bait and switch" tactics, and his been in the past.)

   Bringing up this problem with support was no help. The very nice person who responded didn't really didn't understand what I was talking about and kept asking me to explain myself. Does anybody know a way around this problem? Thanks a lot!

   The action is not at all suspicious. The instructions clearly state that you must install the program within the 24-hour period. If you could simply click a download link anytime you desired then there would be no reason for the wrapper to restrict installation to "the day".

   I wanted to add that the 24 hour window is not an arbitrary decision, where someone or other might cut you a bit of slack. By the time that you clicked the link, getting the notice that the offer was over, everything was already set for that day's offer.

   NOT being a smart a**, if you combine any language barrier, that hard time limit, & well, the name & function of the site itself, it's little wonder someone in support might have been confused.

   I'm just curious, what "Support" did you contact?
   It's the first time that I hear that anyone could call Support for the GOTD site.
