It's to be expected.
I don't really wish to air my political views, however if we can prevent porno,
paedophilia, race-hate, abortion, gambling, drugs sites then that has to be a good thing.
I don't think that when a society cannot be policed by people that are employed to
uphold the law correctly then I cannot see why it should also apply to the net.
It is to be expected when you see where the idea is coming from this is 'take 2' or a plan that went nowhere the first time around.

Censorship is WRONG, Lee. Prohibitions NEVER work, and waving that self-righteous banner is abhorrent. The gullible naïveté of those who believe censorship "prevents" a laundry list of whatever THEY deem inappropriate is what leads to reverse discrimination, oppression and drives both legitimate beliefs and perversions underground. You can forfeit your rights if you want, but you shouldn't be so cavalier as to think you have any right whatsoever to give up mine, or to impose YOUR idea of what's "right" on everyone else. We're smothered and hamstrung by countless layers of sanctimonious special interest "laws" writ by a-holes who think that they know what's best for us. The end result - more ways to control, criminalize and persecute whatever and whomever they don't happen to like. Support FREE speech or live under tyranny.

I'm Chinese, and I hate that "Great Firewall of China".
Because of it, we can't speak what we wanna speak, can't communicate with other counties people free, they recently blocked MediaFire, I don't know why they blocked a online storage site.
I uploaded a lot of files to MediaFire before, but now, I can't download them without proxy.
I don't like Communist Party of China, we have no liberty of speech and political liberty in their control, that's why I prefer Kuomintang of China right now.
I agree they block porno, paedophilia, gambling, drugs sites, but unfortunately, they blocked anything that against Chinese Goverement(CPC).
I think that everyone agrees - Censorship is a good thing as long as it doesn't apply to them.
Due to a request from the Chinese Government - I am now closing this topic for discussion. (I'm joking. They didn't ask me - they have my mother, and said if I didn't...) ;)
