   I have just recently visited the freeware library, and downloaded something called verse perfect. What I'm about to say has nothing to do with VersePerfect.:)

   I'm saying, that the freeware library hasn't been updated in eons(ages)! It'd be nice to see something novel(new), if that were in the cards (possible).

   hmmm.. I'll have to look at what's in there- I'm a freeware download junkie, and when I hit a new task I binge and grab gobs of related stuff and try them until I find something that works- so I might have run across something to spice it up a bit.

   latest has been graphics, panoramas, correcting photo distortion, and video.

   worth a try, at least.

   I agree with the webmaster. The library doesn't seem to get much action these days. I never much cared for the library anyway though, I always preferred to come here.

   seems like there is no activity anywhere here or anywhere on site anymore ?
   I do not even see a link to the freeware library is there still one somewhere ?
   Also I am not sure it is GOTD job to update . don`t they just post the software ?
   and if you want to UPgrade you have to go thru the software company ? I maybe wrong ?
   Anyone here ? or there ?? or anywhere ???

   Hi paJ903, welcome to the forums and congratulations on your first post, that said I did notice you've actually been a member since Dec 2007.

   The forums are much quieter than they used to be. Many of the regulars no longer visit, or at least don't contribute to the forums any longer. Still, the forums aren't dead yet. There are several community members who contribute regularil, usually to post details of excellent bargains, or news on the web, useful software, or just general chit chat. Hope to see you more often; the more the merrier. :)

    ah ok thanks , i am searching for a program to help my
    youngest daughter her laptop is sluggish and needs to
    be cleaned . hoping if possible to find a fairly easy
    freeware program . if that is even possible ?

    If you are not speaking about some cleaning agent and a cloth, I would suggest, to open a new thread with a meaningful topic. Otherwise, this discussion could go lost in the depth of the forums.
    Please don't forget to explain what you want to do, and tell us about the system and the problems.
