Robert, tried what you suggested.. the HD is dead. And it's out of warranty with WD since they already replaced it for me about a year ago and replacements only have a 90 day warranty. So, will have to buy a new one for about $70. For that matter, it was making some noises lately, and now I notice the C drive is making some noises.. maybe I need to get 2 new ones!Posted 15 years ago # -

BK already bought new HD at Best Buy, used Acronis True Image Home Edition. Now new HD is my C: and have original C: as a spare. Didn't buy 2 as Robert suggested because they only have a 1 year warranty, so will get another when one of these goes!Posted 15 years ago # -

Damaging
===================
At present we're up to TWELVE strays that now live here. So, yes, they do know where they're welcome. Problem is they just keep reproducing.. have 4 generations here. Am waiting hear from local assn. about a trap/release program, we trap them, they 'fix' them, give them all their shots, and then let them go here again. Oh, by the way, the LOVE cheese!
By the way, they don't live in the house, our dog would kill them.. we have a shed outside with cartons and straw, and the door's got a wood block so door won't close or open all the way with a bunjee cord to keep dogs out! Of course we've seen raccoon's and oppossums going in there too for the food!Posted 15 years ago #
