   Copmom....I set traps and got 2 of the little critters. We usually keep traps set all the time but the last two I had got broken and I hadn't replaced them yet. Can't get a cat cause Buckley would never put up with it. Everyone around here is having problems this year. My aunt & uncle have 2 cats and are still getting mice.....and their house is spotless. I guess the cats are either too lazy or too old to care....lol

   We got some traps that aren't wood.. the black plastic kind that you can use over and over. Are you using peanut butter to bait them with? Works great!

   Yeh, those are the best, but they're the ones Buckley ruined and so far we haven't been able to find any around here lately (probably all sold out due to the problems everyone's having). DH got some of those "sticky sheet" kind which I thought wouldn't work, but they do, and they're cheap. They're real easy to deal with too, I just kind of fold it over the critter and slip the whole thing into a zip loc bag, sure is easier than drowning them which is what I was doing with the other traps. I used to bait them with chocolate, but they've been going after Buckley's kibble so now I'm just using that. It's lamb & salmon flavor and has a very pungent salmon smell. Figured I might as well give em what they want :)

   dangerous (gee BK.. you repeated 'harmless' LOL Ummm isn't that kinda mean sticking them in a zip lock.. smothering the little critters! We found the black plastic kind both at Lowe's and Wal-Mart)

   Copmom, you're right.....and then you repeated dangerous....I think we're both losing it...lol

   We got the last ones at Wal-Mart but they're out now too like everyone else. Oh....I forgot to mention the sticky sheets actually killed them. Personally I think they're cruel cause the mice die trying to free themselves.

   Ok so let's see if I can find a new word without repeating this time.....

    Yep.. you are right with my repeating.. I didn't lose it.. I LOST it! Oh, we've had more snow here so don't know if I can keep my lab appt. or not today!
