   I'm having problem to open front page GOTD with my Firefox 3.0.3, browser freezing for minute or more, that freaking behavior starts a two or three days ago.

   Looks like some crap code trying to load it up...

   OK, I have the same version of the FOX...I am having no problem at all...and that's on my Laptop!

   You should state what OS you are using!!!! I have XP SP2 Media Center...80 gig hard drive with 1000 MB RAM...my processor is not as good as my Desktop which also runs the same...but has a Pentium 4 and a very good gaming card!

   Good luck with that problem...I haven't upgraded my 2 Desktops to version 3 yet...

   Hi, Quazzarr, my FF3 has and makes no problems and nor does the GOTD site.
   Looks as if you have caught some crappy creepers in the net - delouse your puter and enjoy the forums.

   latest problem I had was the drop.io extension locking ff up when trying to dl pdf's.

   running win2ksp4. installing the latest hotfix- you got that yet? xp-vista aren't quite as critical, but not safe iirc.

   I got Firefox 3.3 with XP it ok may be a clean may help, Go Ctrl + Shift + Del now Go to Tools Optons Clear now cach, untick Remember what I've download, seting firefox not like.

   Did you just update your NoScript add-on?
   I've had some weird issues for several days now and just remembered that it had updated. Went to white-list, deleted old permission for affected site(s), added new. Seems to have solved my issue.

    My Firefox browser 3.3 is freezing and I'm no techie, so I don't understand a thing you guys have said. Could someone please tell me in simple terms how to fix this problem.
    I'm beginning to shy away from coming here every day to check the new GOTD because sometimes I have to shut down and do a complete control/alt/delete to get my computer to defrost!
