Today's [7/27/15] GOTD is Wonderfox HD Video Converter Factory Pro 9.1. Format Factory is a free app classified by videohelp.com as bundleware [http://www.videohelp.com/software/Format-Factory]. By bundling toolbars etc. with their software, the Format-Factory developers stand to make some $. I'm not going to weigh in on the debate regarding how fair or unfair this somewhat widespread practice is.
If you hope to make money on-line, chances are you advertise. One of the most popular ways to advertise is to buy a targeted slot on a relevant web page from an ad network that specializes in that sort of thing. If you actually downloaded the setup for Format Factory, My guess would be that the people behind format factory rented the ad slot on the GOTD download page through an ad service -- sites like GOTD don't get any say in what ads appear. And you probably clicked on the ad instead of the GOTD download link -- the only explanation I can think of for getting Format Factory instead of the GOTD.
TO get HD Video Converter Factory Pro 9.1 simply download the HDVideoConverterFactoryPro91-o9ls3m.zip file from the GOTD download page, unzip it, & follow the directions in readme.txt. If you have a question about Format Factory you probably should visit their site &/or contact its developers &/or post if their site has any forums.
If you want to avoid sometimes misleading ads, use ADP in or with your browser -- considering that the bad guys buy ad slots too, inserting exploits where you just see ads, it's not a bad idea anyway.
