I decided to install Start up defender yesterday despite some of the excellent advice above that suggested not to, as I seem to remember being pleased with it the first time it was given away; I lost it to a format). However since yesterdays installation I've had several blue screen crashes; so decided to delete the program this morning after getting another BSOD withon a few minutes of booting the computer up. Since then it's been okay.
If anyone else has been getting BSOD's (Blue Screen of Death) since installing Startup defender, it could be this program that's causing it.
