   I got as far as level seven (the level where you get two castles), found it impossible so searched Google for help. This gave me a YouTube video of someone playing the level through, but he/she started with 120 coins, the GAOTD version only starts with 40 coins! So is the GAOTD version a limited "trial" version, or is there a bug in it?

   Also - I was playing the easy version, I tried the hard version to see if you got more coins on that for some reason, and found both "hard" and "easy" to be identical. Again this infers "trial" version.

   I didn't install the game but I doubt that it's a limited version. If you check the review, you'll see a picture of an upgrade screen where you can buy an upgrade of "Triple your starting gold" for 100 gems. If you buy the upgrade then you'll have 120 gold when the level starts.

   Was the YouTube video you watched recorded while playing the game on a PC running Windows? It seems primarily a cell phone/tablet game that was also ported to Windows. The Android version is free but has in-app purchases -- it also may start with more coins, or have more levels, or have more ways to earn coins as you progress etc., e.g. it's somewhat typical I think for Android games based on in-app purchases to offer things for purchase that speed up game play that otherwise you just have to wait for, or to unlock or add levels.

   Hi Jed, Chris is right about upgrades. Also Mikiem regarding the free android versions. The giveaway version is a full version, unlimited and yours to keep till you upgrade your computer or reinstall windows. That said, the game is free standing, with no registry entries of note.

   Which would make the give away version "not full". I doubt if there is any legal problems, and even if there is, GAOTD could simply refund what was paid for the download ("You paid nothing, so here is your 'nothing' back"), but it is still not entirely honest to call it "full and unlimited" if there is a more functional version you have to pay for (all be it with in game purchases).
