DirectX 10 have brought nothing but a world of pain in terms of drivers for end users. Hopefully, Vista SP1 and DirectX 10.1 will not repeat the RTM experience.

Hasn't brought me any pain and I have 3 systems running vista, the 1 with xp and the 1 with ubuntu are actually on this computer with Vista as the main partition.
The only games that have been trouble are old games and dos based games. Everything else runs fine and beautifully. I have actually only had one problem with a game and it was just recently. Maplestory would just not play and just remembered Lord of the Rings (fellowship of the ring), but LOR was because it uses Direct Draw or something like that. can't rem. I test games all the time from here and the forums and never had a problem, except for the few.
None of those games were worth the trouble of restarting the computer and installing them on xp or ubuntu. I am only discussing and will debate a little, but if thread is just for Vista Harping then please just disregard my post.
