Paragon has their new version backup software out, & a new Compact version for the giveaway &/or magazine sites, called: Hard Disk Manager 15 - Backup & Recovery Compact Edition.
So far its backup archives seem compatible with version 14. It loses the old style archives, limiting you to [the optional in v.14] virtual disk format. As with v. 14 I think that you'll probably stick to the Paragon or Microsoft virtual disk formats. Using the Microsoft .vhd format can be an easy way to transfer a drive/partition to a .vhd, but the usefulness of that can vary -- to mount the .vhd in Windows you'd want a single rather than multiple files, so storing/moving the archive might be more of a hassle [e.g. no more DVDs, & even BD would often be too small], & you'd still have to move the contents to a new virtual disk if you wanted to run the OS in a VM [to allow free space to run & grow with updates]. Nonetheless the folks who complain about backups in a proprietary format might like the option because .vhd is pretty open & universal nowadays.
When you go to perform a backup you're given your choice, whether you want to back up Volumes or Files, which is new. A big difference however is that now you can create a WinPE boot disc/USB stick, though not everyone will be happy with the requirement of having to download & install the very large Windows AIK. Competing tools like AOMEI's Backupper download just a portion of the AIK for you.
[This was/is an area of particular interest to me because I've been unable to come up with a Paragon bootable USB stick that would work with my pure UEFI 32 bit tablet. This v. 15 was no exception. A Windows 10 WinPE USB stick works just fine, but v. 15 does not yet recognize the Windows 10 AIK to use it (you're limited to win7/8/8.1). So I wait for software from Paragon with win10 compatibility -- hopefully that will work, but as when 8 came out, I'm looking at other brands in the mean time just in case.]
Macrium Reflect may give you the most options & be the most capable when it comes to creating WinPE boot discs/USB sticks. If you upgrade from the free version it's expensive, and it's impact on Windows is much greater than Paragon & AOMEI, but the bootable USB sticks do work. As a work-a-round I've been playing with substituting the boot.wim file from AOMEI for the boot.wim file that Macrium Reflect uses, & gotten good results so far.
[Needless to say booting anything but the installed OS can be a challenge nowadays. My son went the plain Jane route, installing win10 by booting to the setup disc... with a pretty current PC he had to reconfigure his bios a couple of times to get it to boot in the proper mode for Windows setup to see the drive where he wanted to install 10.]
I like Paragon software... with its relative simplicity it's been pretty easy to learn pretty well, and it's never failed me over the course of many years. The make or break point will be how well it works with 10 & with my tablet -- it took a while when 8 came out, & I imagine it'll take a while before v.15 is win10 friendly.
