Can you say "Kwikshot" ?
I have depended on firearms use for a number of years. My use is professional so I practiced a great deal using all types of firearms starting with handguns and moving up to fully automated weapons. Most of that practice is not for fun but rather it way to keep practiced in the use of my tools so that I have a chance of being able to come home at night. However, shooting skeet and trap is a different story I do that for fun.
While I was looking for one of Whiterabbit's games I came upon a website (kwikgames.com) that had several features that interested me. One game that looked very interesting to me is called is called Kwikshot. With this game you get two shots with a shotgun at two clay targets being thrown in a typical skeet progression from the target tower. When shooting trap or skeet I rarely miss. With this game I rarely hit. For each round that I played poorly, I was compelled to play at least one more short round. This is compulsion is the true sense and meaning of the word.
The rules to play Kwikshot are very simple. You have two shots using your shotgun to break two clay targets. The user interface is very clean and simple. Animation is through Adobe Flash Player number nine. Game play uses a window. I can see no way to change this to full-screen. The game can be played using a simple mouse - the mouse can be even broken a little. All that the mouse needs to play the game as a means to smoothly track the clay bird and it must have a functional left button to fire the shotgun.
This game has all of quality of those 8-bit games that see to live forever. I pass this info on to those that share a passion for some of the old arcade games with me.
