You can find several browser games at GSN. It is mostly word games from the Game Show Network (a cable TV channel).
There is also 'Doof'. They have a lot of browser games but you must register to play.
Also Game Fudge, though most of the games there are rather simple in nature.
I only played a few of the games from the sites listed so I can't vouch for their quality but I think they are worth a try, you may be able to find something you like!

As I'm sure fans of the original Peggle are aware. There's been a new version released a couple of days ago over on the developers site Popcap Games. I bought it immediately, but am not really that impressed. It's still brilliant, but what I mean is that there's really nothing new in the game apart from it' set in the evening, there's some new characters and the boards are new designs. However, the game play remains exactly the same, the power ups remain the same, and the music remains the same. I would have expected some new innovations with the latest release.
Anyway, despite that, the game plays beautifully. If you have the first one and don't fancy buying the latest version, or you can't afford to buy it, then the following link will take you to a free version of the game. Of course being a browser, it's limited to a window, but other than that, the game is exactly the same as the one I purchased.

One of the games at Candystand is called Blackbeard's Assault , it is a color matching marble shooter with nice graphics for a browser game.
There is also Billiards and Billiards Classic if you like pool games.
I found this little browser game a little while ago and got stuck playing it for an hour.Funny part is a I typically don't care for them.
It takes a minute to figure it out, but you place little rocket launchers and guns on a grid and then click start.little creatures race from one side to the other and depending on the your placement of the guns you stop them. As you get points for killing them you can add more guns or upgrade the ones you have out.

This is a fun game for Halloween. Don't let the use of M&M's throw you. ;)
You look at the painting, which is made up of many small areas where M&M characters are depicting a scene. Then, you click the scene, type in the name of the movie you think that scene is depicting, and the box will turn green if you are right. You can zoom in and out with the plus and minus keys, or the Z key, I believe. Give it a try--I think you will like it if you enjoy scary movies--the classics or modern ones--both are included.

I'm glad you like it, Idahl! I love any game that is different, and this one is unlike any other browser game that I've come across. I was so proud of myself when I finally figured them out! Another great thing about it is that you can save your progress, which isn't as common with browser games, so that's a definite bonus.
Did you get the classic ones right, or more of the modern horror movies? I love horror movies (I've been converted as a fan of Asian horror films with subtitles, and I tend to collect them on DVD, now), but I was stumped on a few of the more modern movies.
I got up to twenty of them, saved my game, but when I came back later I was informed that they had no record of me... probably my fault somehow. I said I didn't really care for horror movies but I do like the cheesy old classics and a few of the Asian new ones, like The Ring. Also I like ones like the Sixth Sense. I guess the movies I don't like are the teen violence ones, but a few of those are so campy and badly done they are fun for "Bad Movie" night with my son-in-law.(We love trashing bad movies and making up improv lines for them. Come to think of it, I've seen way more horror movies than I thought I had!:)))
Here is a bunch of tower defense type games (in keeping with Whiterabbit's theme of the day) all played from your browser. There must be 75 or 80 games on this page. I have only played "Canyon Defense" (which I liked) so I can't rate any of the games but if you like this genre, there has to be something there that you will like.
Fenomen Games has loads of games you can play from your browser or download trial versions to your computer. There's hidden object, arcade, salon, puzzle, and match 3 just to name a few. There is also a ton more games that you can download the trial or buy.

This is a very good golf game, the graphics are great, better than I expected considering it is a browser game. It may take a minute to load but it is worth the wait. Be sure to go through the tutorial and you won't have any problems, it is an easy game to play.
Minimum recommended resolution 1024x768.
Here is another site that has a lot of browser games for you. It is called Smashing Games.com . There is a little over 100 games on this site. The ones I like are Sandstorm , Yetisports 5 (they also have the first 4), and Goldminer . There were several games that I thought looked interesting but didn't have time to play so I would think that there would be something for everyone. Of course these are browser games so most are not of high quality but they are still enjoyable. :)
