I've seen WhiteRabbit mention several times this site as a place for the older, retired Alawar games.
I looked over the site and the game say free. But, I can't find a "Contact Us" point to express my concerns.
Are the game truly free or are they just trials/demos?
Is there ad-ware within the games?
The correct answer to these questions could say if they can be added as an additional "freebie circuit" site.

After a response in today's game comments, I decided to give them a try.
As far as I can tell, the games are NOT ad-supported. However, not all can be downloaded. Some are tagged for online play only (no download link).
There is a gotcha at the start of the install. It wants one thing before the game installs and is worded like you have to have it - you don't.
Like Alawar, you have NO choice in where it puts it -- Program Files (x86)/GamexTazy. I've moved it and I'm getting ready to use CCleaner to get at the uninstall pointer to fix that. I'll probably get a few games but not many -- I've got most of the ones listed already that interest me!
Sorry for the typo in the thread name.
A large number of the games listed are already in the freebie circuit so I had a bit of difficulty finding a new one. I see a few but have only tested one.

Thanks for the research Diane. The games used to be downloadable as demo's and then you could purchase them in a similar way to alawars games; but that was a few years ago. I've not purchased anything from Alawar since they changed the way you install and activate games. I used to use them becasue the activations didn't require you to be connected to the internet. All's changed since then.

I found some more HOGs today to try. They're silly but I didn't have them so I'm trying.
I've tested 3 more games. The first (Jodie Drake and the World in Peril) has been played through "Stage 2" (of 6) for a total time of about 47 minutes. There has been NO mention of trial time expiring or any ads.
All downloaded files have "Free" at the end of the downloaded file name. I did not see any browser opening but that may have been my choice of file to use for the shortcut after I moved the folder out of the Program Files area.
What is odd is that CCleaner does NOT see the error of the uninstall pointer being wrong for these games so I go directly into Revo to fix it.
It looks positive. The negative in the setup is that the newer entrees seem to be only online play. Only the older ones are download from what I saw. For that reason alone, I won't add it to the "Freebie Circuit".
One gotcha-warning about using this site right now.
If you use their shortcut, you get a nasty wrapper (slow to load) both before and after the actual game and then it opens their browser.
I found it when I spot a game that I got via MPC back with my Vista machine. it worked fine on Vista but fails completely on W7 -- some error wanting to reinstall. I had to try that same game this way hoping for a different build. It's a sokoban game and I don't have too many of them. It failed the same way so I tried it with the other .exe file -- not only did it still fail but I had to put up with that garbage until I could shut it down. I revoed it.
I'll stick to my simple move/rebuild shortcut plan. It worked for 16 games!
