Want To Make Your Own Synth? Some of the people from Microsoft Live Labs put together a service, Photosynth. You upload your photos (or video’s); it goes thru a process that somehow recreates those pics into a 3D walk-thru! Now a viewer can explore it in much the same way as Google Earth where you can fly thru a city anywhere from a street perspective right on up to outer space. Intrigued? Personally, I don’t even own a digital camera, but if I did I’d look more into the details of this. Seems like a novel way to share experiences. My curiosity is from a technical standpoint; however, I would appreciate to hear what some of the aficionados have to say about its practicality. On the surface it does seems like a pretty amazing way to share the details of the stuff in your life (not to mention more uses for any GAOTD Project’s imaging editing and converter giveaways!)
