Hi, thanks!
Where do you find these? I was just on Bigfish games and never saw anything, do they give games away often?
I think BF is trying to get rid of titanic, I got it free when I signed up.
I got Huntsville for signing up.
samm either they want to give it away as incentive, or they have a new version coming out.
good find though...thanks tommy
Thank you Tommy1 this is a great find I like this type of game and the price is right as I am out of work at the moment.
Thanks once again Tommy1. I got Huntsville last time there was a deal on it! I like the hidden object games!
Thanks tom! I also like the hidden object games..you are tops!!
tommy1 .. how do you find these giveaways? I can't find anything on the site except for the link you provided. I know.. you've got a big grin now and keeping it a secret!
Thanks Tommy1,
how did you know that hidden object games are my favorite?
You must be a psychic...ha-ha ;)
Big Fish always has nice games, would be great to see games of this kind offered here on the weekends.
hey I can't remember getting anything for signing up; lol. The only thing I dislike abot BFG is the games manager. Thankfully if you buy BFG games from other sources, they are free standing.
Good game, although I already had it. And for those who didn't know, today is the last day to get AZADA, an excellent hidden object/escape game also at Big Fish Games. Just use the coupon code AZADA99 and the price goes down to $0.99 cents!!

Although I've already got Hidden Expedition Titanic from Reflexive, I thought I'd download this free version so that I can play it from the BFG game manager.
Unfortunately, despite it saying it was free it took this months game credit from me. Hopefully BFG will rectify this. So if you have a subscription account, beware downloading this free version.
Thanks, WR for saying that. Glad I am not the only one. I hate that "Manager" so much that they would have to pay me to put that on my machine. It took me over 3 hours to clean out my registry and PC of that spyware.
I read the EULA...Sorry not for me. Goes for RA also. Almost as bad as Microsoft and their updates. I don't use the MS page to get my updates. I decide what I update.
So, needless to say, if I want any of their games, I go elsewhere.
/me waves at Lockett. :)
Hey, howabout we have a thread up just for commercial games being offered free or cheap?
Good idea Susan, As it was your idea you could start it off by listing all the games available from Gametop (nearly 90 games) and FreeGamePick (around 30 games), all of which are sold elsewhere for up to $19.99.
The only catch with the games available from the following links are that when you close the games down they open up your browser to the home page (where you can check to see if they have any new games). I’ve tested virtually all of the games and there appears to be no viri or malware attached using F-Secure and Virgin Medias PCGuard. Please note that some of the games from Gametop do try to hijack your browser, so watch out when you are installing the games. Some will have the option to uncheck a tick box that asks if you want your browser redirecting to Gametop. If you do accidentally enable it you can revert back to your default browser by right clicking on the internet browser icon and select internet properties. The home page section has a button to reset the home page, or you can manually type in any other browser homepage if you wish.

Thanks, Tommy1--you made my day!
Wabbit, (may I call you Wabbit?). You do so much for all of us, I thought I'd pass along my work around... I didn't like the games manager either, so I made it stop launching. Here's what I did:
I moved the extra executable files that Big Fish installed on my machine--one on the desktop and one in the game folder-- to a separate folder named _HideFromBF
Because BigFish couldn't find the trigger files, it couldn't launch the manager.
I can run the games, no problem, from the Programs Directory (or a shortcut). There IS a screen flicker when I close them, because it is trying to launch their irk-ware, but it doesn't interfere with the game or the license!
I have to do this with each download. I am treating it as a step in the install process.
Regards,
BZ
Thank you for the information Busy Lady, that's a great trick, which I'll certainly try. :)
Does anyone know if bigfishgames work on 64-bit vista premium? I tried to search for the game in bigfish but couldn't find it? Thank you for the free game, I did check out with the coupon code and got it for free, but I can't find out if the game will work with Windows Vista 64-bit. Thank you.
Michelle
Thank you so much Tommy for the free game. It's a really enjoyable 'staying up until far too late' finding objects game. Also.... Michelle, I have Windows Vista Home Edition and it installed and runs fine (except for having a games manager which I don't like, but it works anyway.)Thanks again!
B.T.W. Of course you can Busy Lady; it's sort of endearing, lol.
I've copied your post to a word document for later reference. I'll try it out when I have the time.
Regards Wabbit ;)
