On August 8, 2008, Giveawayoftheday offered the Aplus Video Joiner. Several people, including myself, had problems setting up and running the program. I have used two other a plus programs in the past and I appreciated their quality and ease of operation. It just seemed strange to me that the Video Joiner program did not work as easily as the other programs. After spending a little time with the program I got it to work just just fine. I posted the corrections in the comment section on the day of the offer (08 Aug). Since mine was a last comment of the day, many people may have missed seeing the instructions that I posted.
I have spoken with the program's author, Vincent, several times via e-mail. Vincent said that he received approximate a hundred letters after Video Joiner was featured on Giveawayoftheday. Apparently most letters had to do with installation problems in Vista. I think that Vincent is trying to answer all the e-mails he received. I can't give anyone information on how to make the program work with Vista, but I can tell you how to make the program work with the other operating systems.
How to Maximize the program
There is a very small icon (that to me looks like a gas pump) in the extreme top left hand corner.
Left click on the icon and a drop down menu gives options that include “maximize”. A button labeled “register”, “order” and “help” will be visible after maximization.
Labels on the buttons will be cut-off if the font size is larger than the default size of 92 dpi. Labels in the other APlus programs that I've used have been fine at larger font sizes. Aplus Video Joiner needs to be 92 dpi.
(Font size can be adjusted by right clicking on the desktop > click on “properties” > click on “advanced”.
After making the above adjustments to the program, I found that the program worked well the few times that I used it.
I hope this helps someone.

Please excuse all of the mistakes. I used Dragon Naturally Speaking to write my comment. At times Dragon will go back and make changes to text after dictation is finished.
