   Thanks Tommy... yes I remember all the Ashampoo ones, got them all! Now I do have V6.0.0.362 on here of Spyware Doctor, just installed 8/2/08, but it doesn't include antivirus.. so will try this one and hope it doesn't conflict with the prior version
   Oh, any idea what it costs after the 12 months? And, I tried logging in, they had it as my very old email address from 8 years ago, so can't log in. ??

   Copmom, It might want to uninstall your Doctor only version and replace it with the Doctor Antivirus version. It'll ask you when you install.

   I have avira antivirus persnal and spyware doctor the free version.

   if I am taking up their offer now to upgrade, would there be a software conflict between spyware doctor 6, and avira?

   since this non-free version of spyware doctor also has a antivirus.

   thanks for any tips!

   OK Tommy.. I re-registered and now am awaiting their email with my password so I can get on there, and will their anti-virus conflict with my McAfee?

   Get SpyBot Search and Destroy......Spyware Doc doesn't get it all....and it's Free!

   I have both, I run SpyBot right after the Doc does its big scan and find more crap that it didn't pick up, like Banker and Keyloggers!

    So do I suki.. I've got several that I run, and each one seems to find something else! Made a separate folder on my desktop to put all the shortcuts to these in, titled it "Spyware Programs" to keep track of them!
    Here's my list:
    Ad-Aware, A Squared, ATF Cleaner, CCleaner, Fix-It Utilities, Hijack This, Premium Booster, Process Scanner, Registry Mechanic, Spybot S&D, SpyEraser, Spyware Doctor, Spyware Blaster, Super Anti Spyware, and System Mechanic Professional 6.

    Thanks "copmom" this is from our off forum discussion. I'm including it here because, it just dawned on me == what could be my problem.

    In the past someone supplied a link I could use so the "giver of the free software" didn't know I was in Canada.

    That could be my problem once again. I'm now in Canada. Could that person please help again. Please.
