In Fridays Giveaway comment page of Wondershare Flash Slideshow Builder 4.6
http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/wondershare-flash-slideshow-builder-46/
Some one commented #142 (and me #185 posting back) about missing a great feature that is shown on WonderShare's website.
http://www.flash-slide-show.com/tutorials/customize-flash-gallery-template.html
It's about "How to Customize your own flash template."
After viewing the page and liking this program a lot, I thought it would be great to have this option. Looking through my copy of the software I too like the commentator noticed it wasn't included in the Giveaway version 4.6. Though reading on the page it
reads:
"Here's what you'll need: Wondershare Flash Slideshow Builder 4.5.0 or later" with directions and "how to do" sample photos on the page.
If you compare the page to your program from GAOTD you will notice in the top menu under the tab heading "Template" a 4th sub tab titled "Customize" is missing. This would have been a great feature to design your own templates.
Now seeing that we got the 4.6 and it reads I need 4.5 or later, I'm like thinking, wouldn't 4.6 qualify to be the later?
Ok where's my custom tab?? I'm turning red in the face with rage with steam coming from my ears and nostrils blood boiling setting off my high blood pressure to stroke high settings, I then yell at my monitor "Hey GAOTD and WonderShare how dare you rip me off on a freebie and not include this feature." First you give us free screensavers then free converters now what? Free chop versions? I have the mind to report you to the H.Y.O.M.S.A. (HEY YOU OWE ME SOMETHING ASSOCIATION)
Ha, just joking :p actually I posted on the comments page # 13 that I was blown away with this program and still am even after finding this out. As much as amazed of all the positive votes and comments on this giveaway, (except the usual Vista registry inquiries) that even this missing feature got by everyone without a negative remark about it. I just had to fill in and poke a joke at the ungrateful idiots that sometimes would have complained. There was love in the air Friday LOL
I like this program enough that even with the great templates it provides, to be able to add your own design for semi and full commercial usage I'm willing to purchase this for future use. I guess I was taken back because in my post I forgot to thank GAOTD. If the team is reading this, great catch and a big thanks.
I posted on WonderShare's website online form from the support page.

Subject:Excluded feature
I have downloaded your Flash SlideShow Builder from GivaeAwayOfThe Day.com and think it's a real great program and may purchase this program in the future. I was wondering if there was a specific reason why the feature to customize the template themes was taken out in this version. This feature would have been a great balance in your favor to purchase this product because of the versatility of adding our own designs.
Is this also the way the trial version is setup?
Thank you and will be waiting to hear back.
The welcomed answer from the (no pun intended) WonderFul people at WonderShare (OK, cheap pun intended) was sent to me below:

Dear customer,
Thank you for paying attention to our software.
Regarding the questions you mentioned, please allow me to explain something.
The latest version 4.6.0 focuses on Advanced templates, it doesn't have theme designer, we are developing a new theme designer and will add it to next version.
If you need that function, please use version 4.5.1 for a while, here is the download like for version 4.5.1: http://download.flash-slide-show.com/fssb_451_kjk080118kjk.exe , please download and try to use it to see whether it could meet your needs.
If you have any other questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us.
Best regards,
wang

Had my answer in a day and it showed that they seem to care about their products to at least answer back with a link to try the older version concerning the missing feature.
But I think I'll wait because I'd hate to loose this version if the older trial version somehow voids my GAOTD license. I still have time before needing this feature.
I figured I'd post this in case anyone was going to purchase this program and would need this feature.
