Please, can someone help me? I had to restore my computer today and in doing so, I seem to have lost both Bloom and the Mah Jong game! I just love them both and can't find them anywhere on my computer. I can find the files where the games that have been played have been saved and where the profiles are saved, but that's it. Are they gone forever or am I just not searching in the right place? I have Windows XP if that helps.
Help! Lost my last 2 games!

Cindy, if you did a SYSTEM RESTORE to a date BEFORE your installation of the 2 games, the proprietary registry entries inserted by GAOTD and the games developer(s) were removed.
10 Things to Know
If you haven't done anything since to your system since, I believe you can UNDO that particular restore by returning to Windows' System Restore feature ASAP, thus reverting back to the current Reg settings. Then, choose a system restore point date that's AFTER the date you installed the games. (if you have any)
TIP: It's a good idea to CREATE a System Restore Point before every new installation. I name mine PRE-___s/w name____ Install for easy reference. Just out of curiosity, why did you do a restore in the first place? As is oft said, if you don't complete a successful install during the 24-hr registration window, or you remove a game after the window closes, or reformat your hard drive, or replace a computer, there is nobody and no BuBBy on earth that can replace/reactivate your game... unless and until it's offered again or you decide to buy it.

oh dear, I guess I'll just have to wait till they offer Bloom again then. I already have a Mah Jong game so that one wasn't so important. I really enjoyed Bloom a LOT though and know my grandchildren did too. I will do what you suggest from now on however, just to be on the safe side. I have rarely had to restore my computer, but something was really messing it up, so I had no choice. Thank you so much for your kind reply though. God bless, Cindy

Cindy. You could do as Runesage suggests, but instead revert back to the unrestored version (but only temporary). However I'd create a new restore point before you do anything just in case you've added new programs, emails, or other stuff since.
All of the recent games have been free standing games, so all you need to do is restore back to the time when the games were present; find and save the installed games folders to a pen drive or a disc, then restore your computer to the new restore point that I suggested you create, then copy the game folders back to where you normally keep them. You will have to create new short cuts which you can do easily. If you're not sure ho to create a shortcut, just follow the short tutorial found by following the link below:

Though an alternative would be to save the sortcuts for the games as well. Once you've restored the computer back to the clean state as long as you copy the games folders to the same place the were previously, the shortcut you saved should still work
