Hi, Can anyone tell me if I should uninstall the previous version of this game before installing this one? Also, I read in one of the game posts (don't remember which one or who wrote the post but they said they could install some of the games on a CD/DVD and play them from the CD/DVD. This seems as if it would be particularly beneficial for some of the half gig to gig sized games. Does anyone know how to do that? Can you transfer a game already installed on your machine to a CD/DVD or do you have to somehow install it straight to the CD/DVD? I am so low on hard drive space that I have to take things off to put other things on and there are several games that I don't play very often (or are saving for when kids visit) but take up a lot of space on my drive (ex. the kitten and the puppy games)

All you need to do is get the version you have installed updated. Apparently there's an installer available for this. Someone posted details in the comments section:

Whenever you boot up the game it should automatically check for upgrades anyway (though I haven't turned mine on since the end of April). If you're not sure just uninstall the old version and download the latest version, but it shouldn't be necessary. All online games are updated using patches, so once you have the basic client, it is easy to upgrade it. Usually upgrades are significantly smaller tan the client files.
The important thing is ensuring you've created an account using the links provided in the game giveaway section. The details of your account are kept on a remote server, so you don't have to worry about that apart from remembering your name and password. The game will automatically connect with the games server once you turn the game on (provided you have an active internet connection)

Would it be possible for community members to post queries and information about SAGA in the following thread so that we can keep all the information in one place. There are hundreds of threads in these forums so it is easy for a thread to get buried.:
