abillity to add small pictures to text sentences.

In the middle of a sentence or a paragraph, I would like to insert a photograph, maybe a thumb nail size, if clicked on it would get a large image. Is there a program that does this?

There are a variety of programs that do it. Even MS word does it. The other person has to have the same software to view whatever you create unless you embed it in a webpage for viewing.
