    OMG... the embarrassment of it all. I'll bet you'll be hanging your head way low when they can't get their free software for the day. Damn. That suks. Perhaps you can shoot some e-mails out real quick to cushion the blow for them. Maybe they'll cut you some slack. You poor thing, 'tis a shame. Mention something about maintenance and come back tomorrow and the embarrasment may be minimal for you. If not, go into hiding. Trust me, it's for the best. Why go through the horror?

    When I hover my cursor over the GAOTD link I have on my Bookmarks Toolbar, It says the giveaway is Wondershare iPod Slideshow. I'm betting that is what it was *supposed* to be and it will be interesting to see if that's it when all is fixed.

    brujj1...Eveytime I get that activation "don' t forget to tell your friends" note I think the same thing.My luck, it would be a free program to count how many times you mow the grass or something. Besides, they are not geeky and by the time they get home from work and download it, there' s no time for a long distance "activation failed" walk through.
