Hay does anyone know why my usb stick will not recognise winrar files when I drag and drop them to the stick it says it has copied it to it but when I go to extract the file I get the error message “the archive is either in unknown format or damaged”. And if I get a winrar file from another usb stick from a friend and drag and drop it to my PC I get the same message and he gets the same message from my files. I am not sure if it is my PC as I am running windows vista home prem and he has windows XP if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
