downloaded successfully, ran activation exec & get message "Fatal error- key is invalid".
ran installation exec & then ran activation exec again, same result.
Uninstalled, downloaded again, ran activation exec; same result (key is invalid).
Suggestions?

Hi Lakelivin,
I've had the same problem occassionally. What I do is re boot my modem and router, clean out the internet cache (right click on the internet icon and select Internet Properties). You can delete the cache as well as temporary files and more.
Whenever I've done this the activation works.
I hope this solves your problem.
Make sure you leave the modem and router (If you use one) powered off for about a minute before you plug them back in.

Thanks Stephen, I'll try that next time I have a problem.
Another user had the following comment which may have helped had it been posted earlier: "...rather than turning off the firewall, I added Activate.exe to the list of trusted programs..." after which it worked for him.
Missed this giveaway, very disappointed that there was no response from GAOTD either in this forum or on the giveaway's comment page. This seems to be the type of generic problem that I would expect GAOTD to help users resolve.
