I concur with Archangel and would like to wish all Mothers a Wonderful Mothers Day.
Yes men need mothering just as much as children.
It is roughly 4:30pm here in Sydney and we are just getting ready to take Mum out to a classy Chinese Restaurant for Mothers Day Dinner.
Whatever time zone and country you are in, Happy Mothers Day and especially to the wonderful Mothers here in this forum. You know who you are.
Have a great day/evening.

I wonder if people in China take their Mothers out to a classy Australian restaurant today?
Your bad creamypretzel. ROTFL

:D

hey archangel- it's nice to see you around again.
To Dan aka creamypretzel,
Yes you are wicked.
Is it just the UK that celebrates mothers day on a different day?
To all who do celebrate mothering Sunday today; have a fantastic and restful day. I hope all your hubbies, sons, grandsons and men in general treat their partners, mothers grandmothersd and sisters with a little more respect than they may generally do. ( what I mean is - pamper them for a change). :) They certainly deserve it.
I don't know what I'd do without Michelle my beautiful wife, whose gone through hell and back since my accident nearly 3 years ago. Her life has been turned upside down due to me, yet she is still able to smile and seemingly carry on regardless; I doubt I'd be able to keep my head as she has done. To all women worldwide. you're fantastic :)
love Stephen
A big thank you to all the guys, and for all the gals, Happy Mothers Day to you too! Hummm, Chinese restaurant, that's giving me an idea! We have a good one around here.
To WhiteRabbit and all of you who can't get enough of Mother's Day, here is a calendar list :
Thanks guys! And a Happy Mother's Day to all my fellow sisters (there's an oxymoron for ya).

Gee....with all this talk of Mother's Day, you'd think half the world could celebrate it!. Oh...wait....half the world CAN celebrate it. Nevermind.
Archangel.. let me add my welcome back to you too!
Today was a good Mother's Day. Daughter/Son-in-law came over with their 2 and brought me a very unusual African Violet, and the other's called me to wish me a "happy".
Copmom.....ooohhh....unusual African Violet......can we see a pic? I love African Violets, they're one of the few flowers I can actually grow and keep.
i hope everyone enjoyed their day. we had a lovely brunch at home with some family, and my ex-mother-in-law (she is visiting and spent the weekend with us).
how's that for an unusual guest list?
