Well said Buckleysmom, I agree wholehertedly with your sentiments. I really don't understand the criticism levelled at the game giveaway team just because so and so hasn't got a game they've liked for awhile.
I'm so happy that we have such a site to be able to visit. It was the highlight of my morining for the first several months. I used to get myself cleaned up, then have breakfast before I opened the game giveaway site, and over the intervening year and a half have discovered some brilliant games that I would certasinly not have evcen thought of trying prior to the project.
It's spawned a brilliant forum where more often than not you'll find some excellent freeware games to sate your appetite if the game giveaway didn't and if there isn't there's literally hunreds of games that you can choose from to play (assuming you're not too narroew minded about what you play. I for one would never have bought a traditional platform game prior to this project. It opened up a whole new world of games for me as I was very narrow in what I'd purchase (Arkanoids and space shooters).
There's a difference between giving constructive critiscism about a game and outright blasting the project. They have given away a wide range of games since its inception back in Nov 06, which should cover about everyones taste in games.
I'd like to take this oppertunity to say a big thank you to the game giveaway team (and the giveaway team) and to those that make the forums a pleasure to visit.
Keep up the great work. I look forwards to the regular return of the game giveaway project; however if it stays like it it, Cest La Vie, two days is better than nothing. :)
p.s.
Mothers Day was back in March here in the UK. I wonder why there's a differnce?
