McAfee comes unstuck over signature updates

As a result of two bug-ridden signature updates to McAfee's anti-virus software, some customers have found themselves unable to access the internet. The updates can either disable anti-virus monitoring or result in an unresponsive program console. According to McAfee, the defective signatures, DAT 6807 and 6808, were distributed last weekend.

As much as I appreciate you keeping us informed hotdoge,I don't think an unfortunate event dated August 24th 2012 is relevant anymore. :)
McAfee Antivirus has been running quite smoothly on one of my machines for about 4 months.
(6 months,extended trial)
