Has anyone else had problems getting this software to finish ANY rip?! It just says that it's encountered an error and has to close.

I do not actually use this program to rip, but I noticed in your other post that you were not sure if it was registered, try clicking on "register now" if the lines are blank you probably are not registered or if there is a "about" box under help the register information could be there.
If that is not the problem here are some hints for a successful rip. Make sure the disk you are copying is clean, it takes a large amount of RAM to rip, so if you are low on RAM, do not multi task, and shut down any none essential program that is running, during the rip, if your hard drive is low on memory, a movie could have between 4 GB and as much as 7 or 8 GB needed for space on your HD, so you may need to clean up some space on your HD.
If all else fails try downloading the free version of DVDFab HD Decrypter, from here:
http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm
and see if you can rip with that program, if you can not I would need more information, to be able to help you.
