   Hi this is my first post. It's sad that it has to be a gripe. Never-the-less when your a freeware download junkie like me, it's par for the course. I recently downloaded 'GMChess'. After giving it a short workout I decided it wasn't for me. That's when I discovered...No Uninstall.exe. Apart from first deleting everything visible on the surface and before diving into the deep and murky depths of my registry, has anyone got any printable suggestions on how I might safely remove this program?

   I think you did. delete the shortcut and you should be done.

   advice from the virtual novice:

   search all files for gmchess and delete anything that shows up.

   Thanx for that. I especially appreciate the speedy response. Although in this particular case it was more by way of an ice breaker, than a desperately urgent request. However, it's nice to know that if I or you were in a pickle, there would be people there for you or me. Cheers, I guess I'll be speaking to you again sometime :¬)

   In case you'd like to know, all those games that you download from GGOTD that says WinRAR can be directly deleted from its installed folder. Sometimes, though it may leave a few registry entries behind. I should add instructions in my GOTD guide...
