   and also one for combining icons into a dll or icl file?

   Try http://www.snapfiles.com/get/iconsfromfile.html . I have used this one in the past and it really works well. You can also check out this link for more icon tools. http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/gmm/fwicontools.html
