Britain in colour for the very first time.
maizeydaze........nice pictures, and surprisingly little has changed in most of those locations, i worked there for 7 yrs, mostly "living it up" while i could, before the peace and quiet i have today.

It's not as pretty as all the rest, but I like the one with all the latex gloves. :)
This will make you think twice the next time you wanna order McNuggets:
Ewww! That should be in the "Gross" thread. It's not Amazing, Awesome and certainly not Inspiring!
I think it IS amazing that a chicken head could make it all the way to a customer's bag without someone noticing it.
Also, they deleted the gross thread, so it had to go SOMEWHERE!
It's an amazing thing what plain weird ideas artists can have :
That car artist is amazing. Thanks temporarylox.
Hi, PadLox, welcome to the forums.
Your name is really amazing. May I guess what Pad means? Could it be Paddy, something Irish? Excuse my curiosity, but normally I know all loxes here around. Whatever, let's have fun.
I will have graylox back
XRez is a collection of insanely high resolution panoramic images in various categories covering natural and urban subjects. If you’re into zooming down into a gigapixel image to look up a person’s nostrils, then this is for you.
Holy crap! That is great maizeydaze. That is up my alley for sure. Thanks :)
Here's a cool one back :) http://fontstruct.fontshop.com/
A free no installation place to create fonts. Or just get some of the cool stuff created already. You can also just make one and keep it yourself if you so desire....I've been dabbling for a couple months and actually have 1 that is available. It's still unfinished though :)
Have fun. It's pretty neat
GSM - How do I find your font? I had posted that link before. I haven't taken the time to play with it...just a few minutes to get the hang of it.
Have you seen the Font Freaks Untie!!! ....um, I mean Unite!!! thread? A lot of great font resources.
Thanks for reminding me about it.
I'm not sure But It was probably You that got me there! I don't know....but YES I think! IT WAS!
Maizey....Just look for 'hairy bugger' and you shall find :)
The Font Freaks post I DO remember. I was a mere lurker then...But I was a pretty good graphics dude before the digital revolution. :)
I'm unfinished...Caps only on the lower keyboard strokes
gsm- nice! and you even got an award.
:D
Thank you funky. I was early on it, so I was wanting to try out the limitations...And have fun :)
Didn't know what thread to put this in or if it's already been posted??
As you will see when you click on this site, there is a Jukebox- but it is no ordinary jukebox.
It will play all of your favorite songs from 1950 through 1982. Each year has a scroll or drop down box that shows all the great songs for that year. Most years have over 40 songs.
Once you click on a song it will play and when it finishes it automatically plays the next song in the list and continues until it has played all the songs.
This is really cool. Have fun with it.....!!
It has a volume control which you should use in conjunction with your computers volume control.
One of the best features is that it will play in the background. That means you can be doing other computer work on a different screen. For those are not too familiar, just open this Jukebox, start a song list playing THEN open another window in your Browser and use that window to surf the net or whatever, while the music plays. I set it up on my desktop as a favorite so all I have to do is click on it and it opens automatically.
. There is also Christmas Music, Movie Themes, Show Tunes and lots of other categories.
This Jukebox plays any popular song from 1950 through 1982. Hundreds if not thousands of hours went into creating it.
Stones That Literally Grow by Themselves
Trovants are stones or sandstone concretions that secrete cement and appear to grow by themselves. They consist of a stone core with an outer shell of sand believed to be the result of cementation that occurred millions of years ago.
After heavy rain, small forms appear on the rocks leading them to be dubbed "growing stones" by locals.

Hello there COPMOM!
Thank you so much for the link to the tropicalglen jukebox. A truly 'amazing, awesome and inspiring' site. Brilliant music going right back to 1950. We have it on permanently in the background whilst surfing. Excellent website - thanks again!!
Love, Light and Peace
JC
thanks for the jukebox link, copmom.
maizey those rocks rock!
Louis Vuitton has put together real "seasoned & well traveled" celebrities who share their authentic and personal insights about places they know and love. They share a sort of emotional interest built up over many journeys to one place.
For example - Keith Richards, smoking a cigarette, face like spider legs, tells us in one video: "London guitar players have longer straps ..."
The video-rich campaign site around stars Keith Richards, Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi, Catherine Deneuve, and Mikhail Gorbachev. Graf and Agassi talk about New York, while Deneuve talks about her hometown of Paris.
looks cool,i've bookmarked for later.
i must try and get to bed.
good night, maizey.
Pictures of 100 poems by 100 poets, explained by a Wet Nurse
Katsushika Hokusai was a Japanese artist, ukiyo-e painter and printmaker of the Edo period. In his time he was Japan's leading expert on Chinese painting. He illustrated 89 of the 100 poems. The very short poems (tanka) were mostly written by noble members (Emperors, princesses) and high functionaries at the Imperial courts between 800 and 1200 AC. 20 poems were written by women.
