Many of you may have already seen this, it is an awesome video created by a 15 year old girl named Lizzie Palmer. I must admit, I cried the first time I saw it.

i have to introduce you all to ennio marchetto.
enjoy!
ennio marchetto live performance
this guy is amazing, he makes all his own costumes out of paper and cardboard, and he is truly a one man show.......well except for all the personas he takes on.

Funkymom .. Ennio is incredible! What a unique artist. I'd be hard pressed to choose a favorite, but Dolly Parton, Elvis and Cher were delightful. Thank you so much for the introduction and posting those links; I've spent the past half-hour laughing!

Any architecture buffs here? 1500 Hula Hoops.. and some zip ties Methinks someone had tooooo much time on their hands!
-----@Maizey, next time the folks out here think I'm nuts for building a snow man or making snow angels while barefoot, and wearing shorts and a t-shirt, I'll just refer them to Wim Hof. He raises the mark for absolute crazy, I reckon.

@ Bobby, if you want to start a topic for weird, I'm certain that we can find some interesting and unsual sites. I know I've already got some in my bookmarks.Posted 16 years ago # -
Truly Amazing.
This is an amazing video of one of the homeless in
Santa Barbara and his pets. They work State Street
every week for donations. The animals are pretty
well fed and are mellow. They are a family. The
man who owns them rigged a harness up for his cat so
she wouldn't have to walk so much (like the dog and
himself). At some juncture the rat came along, and
so no one wanted to eat anyone else, the rat started
riding with the cat and often, on the cat. The dog
will stand all day and let you talk to him and
admire him for a few chin scratches. The mayor of
Santa Barbara filmed this clip and sent it out as a
Christmas card.Posted 16 years ago # -

Bobby, what a geeky project! Would be fun to make and have! Could tell the kiddies, if they don't behave I'll vaporize them with it! I'm so EVIL! >:D

Ahhhh boy .. I did not consider that kids just might try to build some of these gadgets, even though I followed a link from a science project site. I should have, though .. my brother and I were geeky kids and once upon a time _we_ would have tried to build them.
***EDIT****
Inventor Spot has an article on some very inventive kids that have figured out how to change the flavor of foods, without changing the appearance (chocolate flavored brussel sprouts, anyone?)

Fastest Car taken out "for a spin".
Top Gear tests the World's Fastest Production Automobile: Bugatti Veyron...has 1000 horses and a top speed of 407kph! Thats 253mph for you math majors!
Favorite Quote - "At this speed the tyres will only last for 15 minutes... which is OK because the fuel runs out in 12 minutes". Nothing like planning ahead. :)
