   Will you consider adding some kind of motivation (bonus) for people adding tickers, RSS scrapers, links, buttons, or whatnot advertising your 'give away' site.

   I'm not thinking an affiliate model because that only benefits the affiliate service provider: neither you nor I.

   I'd like to accrue 'credits' to unlock previously offered applications, and receive more voting clout.

   What say you?

   IMO you've missed the point and are in danger of getting speared by it.

   I thought we were already getting something. Free software & games??

   Adding the links to our blogs/websites is a "Thank You" back to GOTD.

   Also the more exposure GOTD gets, possibly more & maybe even better software companies will become aware of the project and offer their products to us.

   Just my own opinion though. :)

    Seems like having a daydream ...,but offers to unlock previously offered GAOTD applications is a matter you should discuss with the people who made the program :)
